Catching Up

Here's an attempt to "catch up" all of you

with our summer.

We have been outdoors and off of the computer

soaking up these last days as a

family of three.

So this blog has suffered...

which is regrettable since it is my

digital 'baby book'... and what mom

wants to have a blank baby book!?

Here is the pictorial proof that our July was FULL:

We spent quite a lot of time in pools

or at this particular splash park...

a perfect respite for this hot summer!

Lots of book reading,

lots of time learning from example "how to be a man",

watching and following his daddy's every move.

A trip to the zoo with Owen and Ellie-

A celebration for Libby's birthday-

which included flowers, corn-on-the-cob,

and some fabulous puddle jumping!

Oh, and cake...

A fun day on the lake with some of our favorite people-

boating, wake-boarding, and getting

a lot more sun than we wanted!

We were so glad that Loren joined us for awhile,

that the ice cream was cold,

and Rod was able to get Stephen off the tube.

Reed thought the water should have a

bottom like his bathtub does,

and that the fireworks (his first!) were really loud;

but the day was spent with "Ma-chi and Li-la"

so he was on top of the world!
